Historic winter courier aircraft in service

A bearded man in a knit cap, heavy coat, gloves, and boots stands beside a vintage propeller aircraft fitted with skis. The fuselage bears the words “MacLeod’s Courier,” suggesting a winter mail or transport service. Snow blankets the open settlement, with log cabins, a barn, stacked firewood, and evergreen and leafless trees beneath a bright blue sky. The image has a nostalgic, documentary feel with crisp sunlight and strong winter shadows.
