The image depicts a traditional infant baptism inside a rustic wooden chapel with stone flooring and walls. A priest dressed in white and gold ceremonial robes pours water over a baby wrapped in a blanket, held by a woman in period attire. Around them are family members and parishioners, also dressed in historical clothing, standing solemnly in two rows along wooden benches. The chapel interior is softly lit by candles and daylight through small windows, featuring religious statues and a crucifix on the wooden altar in the background.
